The Terryville Kangaroos basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Shepaug Valley Spartans to 59 in the Kangaroos league triumph on Tuesday.

The Kangaroos now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomaston for a Berkshire contest on Friday, January 5. Terryville will meet a Bears team coming off a 66-41 non-league loss to Brookfield (Brookfield, CT). The Bears record now stands at 2-3.

The Spartans (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Kaynor Tech (Waterbury, CT). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Kaynor Tech was nudged by Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT), 63-60, in a league contest.
