East Ridge Raptors (Woodbury, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Elk River Elks (Elk River, MN), 78-69 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Ridge upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Raptors travel to Roseville (Roseville, MN) to clash with the Raiders in a AAAA Section 4 bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 6-2.

Next up, the Elks clash with the Coon Rapids Cardinals (Coon Rapids, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Elk River will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record.
