The Saline Hornets (Saline, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters (Ypsilanti, MI), 62-49 in Friday's non-league test.
The Hornets (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Pioneer (Ann Arbor, MI). The Pioneers go into the Southeastern - Red test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Pioneer went down by Huron (Ann Arbor, MI), 52-30, in a league test.
The Railsplitters now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Bedford for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24. Lincoln will encounter a Kicking Mules squad coming off a 63-43 league win over Monroe (Monroe, MI). The Kicking Mules record now stands at 10-1.
