The Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau Red Hawks basketball team (Galesville, WI), was overwhelmed 63-18 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Westby Norsemen (Westby, WI)

The Norsemen now possess a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arcadia for a Coulee battle on Tuesday, January 24. Westby will confront a Raiders team coming off a 59-45 non-league loss to St. Croix Central (Hammond, WI). The Raiders record now stands at 5-10.

The Red Hawks (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Viroqua (Viroqua, WI). The Blackhawks come into the Coulee battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Viroqua was overwhelmed by Black River Falls (Black River Falls, WI), 59-33, in a league battle.
