Valley Regional Warriors (Deep River, CT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Westbrook Knights (Westbrook, CT), 69-24 in a league bout.

With the victory, Valley Regional upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host Hale Ray (Moodus, CT) to play the Noises in a Shoreline bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Noises come into the bout with a record of 4-7. Hale Ray lost 52-9 in their recent league bout against Cromwell (Cromwell, CT)

Next up, the Knights play the Morgan Huskies (Clinton, CT) in a Shoreline bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Westbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 58-16 league win over Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT).
