Alabama High School Basketball - Chilton County over Calera

Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Chilton County Tigers (Clanton, AL) and the host Calera Eagles (Calera, AL), saw Chilton County's basketball squad overcome Calera by a tally of 63-44.

With the victory, Chilton County improves its record to 17-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Marbury (Marbury, AL) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Marbury won 52-28 in their recent league challenge against Elmore County (Eclectic, AL)

Next up, the Eagles confront the Benjamin Russell Wildcats (Alexander City, AL) in a 6A Area 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Calera will attempt to improve on its 3-19 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 60-39 league loss to Chilton County (Clanton, AL).
