The Western Reserve Blue Devils basketball team (Berlin Center, OH), was nudged 41-35 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Crestwood Red Devils (Mantua, OH)
The Red Devils now possess a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kirtland for a Chagrin Valley - Valley battle on Wednesday, January 24. Crestwood will battle a Hornets team coming off a 52-43 non-league loss to Geneva (Geneva, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 7-6.
The Blue Devils (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH). The Bluejays come into the Mahoning Valley - Scarlet battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Jackson-Milton edged McKinley (Sebring, OH), 59-19, in a league battle.
