The Deer Creek-Mackinaw Chiefs (Mackinaw, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Eureka Hornets (Eureka, IL), 45-34 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Chiefs (22-1) will now prepare for their test against Havana (Havana, IL). The Ducks go into the non-league test with a 14-9 record. In their last test, Havana went down by Central/Southeastern (Camp Point, IL), 59-40, in a non-league test.
