In Saturday's non-league outing, the Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI) basketball squad edged the host Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI), by a margin of 42-39.

The Sentinels (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Shea (Pawtucket, RI). The Raiders go into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record.
