The Covington Catholic Colonels tipped the visiting North Laurel Jaguars basketball team by a final score of 69-65 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Colonels face the Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 24. Covington Catholic will attempt to move on its 16-2 season record. The Jaguars enter the game with a 12-7 record after their 60-43 non-league win over Bracken County (Brooksville, KY).
The Jaguars (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Red Bird (Beverly, KY). The Cardinals come into the District 49 battle with a 1-9 record.
