Washington High School Basketball - Rainier knocked off by Oakville

The Oakville Acorns basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Rainier Mountaineers to 46 in the Acorns non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Acorns now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North River for a 1B Coastal contest on Tuesday, January 24. Oakville will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 69-18 league win over Mary M. Knight (Elma, WA). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-5.
The Mountaineers (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Adna (Adna, WA). The Pirates enter the 2B Central contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Adna was defeated by Toledo (Toledo, WA), 51-50, in a league contest.
