Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Pembroke Spartans (Pembroke, NH) and the visiting Souhegan Sabers (Amherst, NH), saw Pembroke's basketball squad knock off Souhegan by a count of 63-50.

With the victory, Pembroke upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Plymouth (Plymouth, NH) to play the Bobcats in a Division II challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Plymouth lost 56-23 in their recent league challenge against Merrimack Valley (Penacook, NH)

Next up, the Sabers play the Bishop Brady Giants (Concord, NH) in a Division II challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Souhegan will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
