The Pottsville Crimson Tide (Pottsville, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Exeter Township Eagles (Reading, PA), 49-41 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Crimson Tide (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA). The Olympians go into the Schuylkill County 1 test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Jim Thorpe went down by Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA), 45-43, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Conrad Weiser for a non-league test on Monday, January 23. Exeter Township will encounter a Scouts squad coming off a 60-26 non-league loss to Reading (Reading, PA). The Scouts record now stands at 1-4.
