Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Sharon thwarts Hickory

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Sharon Tigers (Sharon, PA) and the visiting Hickory Hornets (Hermitage, PA), observed Sharon's basketball team knock off Hickory by a score of 73-54.

The Tigers (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Farrell (Farrell, PA). The Steelers come into the District 10 Region 4 challenge with a 4-7 record. In their last challenge, Farrell prevailed over Mercer (Mercer, PA), 69-48, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets encounter the Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA) in a District 10 Region 4 challenge, on Friday, January 24. Hickory will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 63-34 league win over Mercer (Mercer, PA).
