The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Roosevelt Eagles (Lubbock, TX) and the visiting Muleshoe Mules (Muleshoe, TX), observed Roosevelt's basketball team overcome Muleshoe by a margin of 55-43.

The Eagles (12-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Idalou (Idalou, TX). The Wildcats come into the 3A Region I District 2 challenge with a 16-10 record. In their last challenge, Idalou defeated Friona (Friona, TX), 86-29, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mules battle the Dimmitt Bobcats (Dimmitt, TX) in a 3A Region I District 2 challenge, on Friday, January 24. Muleshoe will attempt to better on its 1-12 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 8-14 record after their 100-45 league loss to Shallowater (Shallowater, TX).
