The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hokes Bluff Eagles (Hokes Bluff, AL) and the visiting Etowah Blue Devils (Attalla, AL), observed Hokes Bluff's basketball team knock off Etowah by a score of 49-33.
The Eagles (15-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Sand Rock (Leesburg, AL). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 18-6 record. In their last challenge, Sand Rock prevailed over Signal Mountain (Signal Mountain, TN), 39-36, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Blue Devils encounter the Leeds Greenwave (Leeds, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 24. Etowah will attempt to improve on its 8-15 season record.
