The Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Ospreys basketball team (Wirtz, VA), was toppled 43-31 in Saturday's league battle with the host Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs (Danville, VA)
The Bulldogs now possess a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Temple Christian for a Virginia Christian battle on Monday, January 24. Westover Christian Academy will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 23-6 non-league win over United Christian Academy (Stanardsville, VA). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-5.
The Ospreys (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Temple Christian (Madison Heights, VA). The Crusaders come into the non-league battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Temple Christian beat Westover Christian Academy (Danville, VA), 44-19, in a league battle.
