The Bishop McNamara Mustangs basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting St. Mary's Ryken Knights to 53 in the Mustangs league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now possess a 7-9 record. They play next when they host Archbishop Carroll for a DCSAA AA game on Sunday, January 26. Bishop McNamara will confront a Lions team coming off a 83-53 league win over St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD). The Lions record now stands at 12-9.

With the loss, St. Mary's Ryken falls to 5-14 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC) to confront the Lions in a DCSAA AA game on Friday, January 24. The Lions go into the game with a record of 11-9. Archbishop Carroll lost 60-46 in their recent non-league game against Wasatch Academy (Mt. Pleasant, UT)
