In Wednesday's league contest, the host Gordon Lee Trojans basketball team scored a good 43-23 triumph over the Gordon Central Warriors.
The Trojans (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Dalton Academy (Dalton, GA). The Pumas go into the A D1 Region 7 contest with a 0-16 record. In their last contest, Dalton Academy was topped by Whitwell (Whitwell, TN), 47-24, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Unity Christian Lions (Rome, GA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 23. Gordon Central will attempt to better on its 4-14 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 9-7 record after their 48-34 non-league win over Oakwood Christian (Chickamauga, GA).
