The Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA), 42-41 in Tuesday's league test.
The Statesmen (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA). The Eagles go into the James River test with a 1-12 record. In their last test, Prince Edward County was tipped by Heritage (Lynchburg, VA), 79-25, in a non-league test.
The Chargers now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Goochland for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 24.
