Franklin Pierce Cardinals (Tacoma, WA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Clover Park Timberwolves (Lakewood, WA), 44-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Franklin Pierce upgrades its record to 1-10 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Fife (Fife, WA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 1-7. Fife lost 41-28 in their recent non-league bout against Foss (Tacoma, WA)

Next up, the Timberwolves play the White River Hornets (Buckley, WA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Clover Park will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 11-0 record after their 67-33 non-league win over Orting (Orting, WA).
