The East Ridge Warriors basketball team (Lick Creek, KY), was nudged 60-56 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Hurley Rebels (Hurley, VA)
The Rebels now possess a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host River View for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 24. Hurley will confront a Raiders team coming off a 85-31 non-league win over Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV). The Raiders record now stands at 10-4.
The Warriors (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY). The Wildcats come into the District 59 battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Shelby Valley was nudged by Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY), 62-40, in a non-league battle.
