Illinois High School Basketball - Prospect trounces Wheeling

The Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL), 77-37 in Tuesday's league test.
The Knights (16-10) will now prepare for their test against Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 5-19 record. In their last test, Saint Viator walloped Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL), 53-32, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 6-19 record. They play next when they host Hersey for a Mid-Suburban - East test on Friday, January 26. Wheeling will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 39-29 league win over Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 17-8.
