In Thursday's non-league test, the Monarch Coyotes (Louisville, CO) basketball team were winner over the host Prairie View Thunderhawks (Henderson, CO), by a tally of 34-20.
The Coyotes now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Northfield for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. Monarch will play a Nighthawks team coming off a 54-23 non-league win over Vista PEAK Prep (Aurora, CO). The Nighthawks record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Prairie View falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Thunderhawks host Boulder (Boulder, CO) to play the Panthers in a bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-3.
