In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Pilgrim Patriots basketball team scored a good 49-34 triumph over the Middletown Islanders.

In their next game, the Patriots meet the Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI) in a Division 3 match, on Thursday, January 26. Pilgrim will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record. The Mariners enter the match with a 7-5 record after their 40-26 league win over North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI).
