Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA), 33-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fort Defiance upgrades its record to 4-8 on the season. The Indians host Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 26. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Rockbridge County lost 45-31 in their recent non-league bout against Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA)

Next up, the Bison play the Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Buffalo Gap will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Gladiators go into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 44-19 non-league loss to Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA).
