Dover Tigers (Dover, NJ) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Boonton Bombers (Boonton, NJ), 67-59 in a league bout.

With the victory, Dover upgrades its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Jefferson Township (Oak Ridge, NJ) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 9-3.

Next up, the Bombers play the Mount Olive Marauders (Flanders, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Boonton will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Marauders come into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 47-41 non-league win over Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ).
