The Carteret Ramblers (Carteret, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting New Brunswick Zebra (New Brunswick, NJ), 50-21 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Ramblers (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Somerset Tech (Bridgewater, NJ). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, Somerset Tech was trounced by Spotswood (Spotswood, NJ), 59-5, in a non-league test.

The Zebra now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they host South River for a non-league test on Friday, January 26. New Brunswick will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 63-52 league win over Highland Park (Highland Park, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 12-2.
