Howell Central Spartans (St. Charles, MO) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Oakville Tigers (St. Louis, MO), 32-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Howell Central upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to Lutheran South (St. Louis, MO) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 13-3. Lutheran South won 48-46 in their recent non-league bout against St. Dominic (O'Fallon, MO)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Washington Bluejays (Washington, MO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Oakville will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Bluejays go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 72-62 non-league loss to Waynesville (Waynesville, MO).
