In Friday's league test, the Freer Buckaroos (Freer, TX) basketball squad trounced the visiting Ben Bolt Badgers (Ben Bolt, TX), by a final score of 62-36.

Next, the Buckaroos clash with the Kaufer Seahawks (Riviera, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 32 test, on Tuesday, January 28. Freer will attempt to upgrade on its 13-12 season record.
