Texas High School Basketball - Shelbyville knocks off Hemphill

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Shelbyville Dragons basketball team scored a good 53-38 win over the Hemphill Hornets.
The Dragons (20-3) will now prepare for their contest against Woden (Woden, TX). The Eagles come into the 2A Region III District 24 contest with a 14-14 record. In their last contest, Woden defeated Corrigan-Camden (Corrigan, TX), 72-34, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Chireno Owls (Chireno, TX) in a 2A Region III District 24 contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Hemphill will attempt to better on its 12-13 season record. The Owls come into the contest with a 16-9 record after their 43-37 league loss to San Augustine (San Augustine, TX).
