The Midway Falcons (Henrietta, TX) basketball were winner over the visiting Saint Jo Panthers (Saint Jo, TX), 54-43 in Friday's league bout.

The Falcons now possess a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Prairie Valley for a 1A Region III District 18 bout on Tuesday, January 28. Midway will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 70-38 league loss to Forestburg (Forestburg, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-14.

With the loss, Saint Jo falls to 14-12 on the campaign. The Panthers host Gold-Burg (Bowie, TX) to play the Bears in a 1A Region III District 18 bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 3-9.
