In Friday's non-league test, the Veritas School Lions (Richmond, VA) basketball squad trounced the visiting The New Community School Sabers (Richmond, VA), by a score of 80-27.
Next, the Lions encounter the Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets (Front Royal, VA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 28. Veritas School will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the test with a 10-0 record after their 59-37 non-league win over Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA).
The Sabers (0-8) will now prepare for their test against Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot (Powhatan, VA). The Knights come into the non-league test with a 10-4 record.
