The Lakeshore Lancers basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting St. Joseph Bears to 44 in the Lancers league triumph on Friday.

The Lancers now have a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Brandywine for a non-league game on Monday, January 27. Lakeshore will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 65-36 league win over Buchanan (Buchanan, MI). The Bobcats record now stands at 12-0.

With the loss, St. Joseph falls to 7-1 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Niles (Niles, MI) to confront the Vikings in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 2-9. Niles lost 50-46 in their recent league game against Three Rivers (Three Rivers, MI)
