The Bellarmine Prep Lions (Tacoma, WA) basketball nipped the host South Kitsap Wolves (Port Orchard, WA), 66-59 in Wednesday's league test.

The Lions (9-11) will now prepare for their test against Puyallup (Puyallup, WA). The Vikings go into the 4A South Puget Sound - North test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Puyallup got by Sumner (Sumner, WA), 65-54, in a league test.

The Wolves now own a 2-14 record. They play next when they travel to Curtis for a 4A South Puget Sound - North test on Friday, January 27. South Kitsap will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 81-36 non-league win over Rogers (Puyallup, WA). The Vikings record now stands at 17-3.
