The Duluth East Greyhounds basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Bemidji Lumberjacks to 51 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Greyhounds now sport a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Superior for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Duluth East will meet a Spartans team coming off a 75-68 non-league win over Eau Claire North (Eau Claire, WI). The Spartans record now stands at 15-7.
The Lumberjacks (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Detroit Lakes (Detroit Lakes, MN). The Lakers enter the non-league contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Detroit Lakes ran past Park Rapids (Park Rapids, MN), 53-41, in a non-league contest.
