Brimley Bays (Brimley, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Engadine Eagles (Engadine, MI), 65-26 in a league bout.

With the victory, Brimley upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Bays travel to Cheboygan (Cheboygan, MI) to play the Chiefs in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Chiefs come into the bout with a record of 3-7. Cheboygan won 56-23 in their recent non-league bout against Ogemaw Heights (West Branch, MI)

Next up, the Eagles play the Pickford Panthers (Pickford, MI) in a Eastern Upper Peninsula bout, on Thursday, February 1. Engadine will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 28-24 non-league loss to Onaway (Onaway, MI).
