The Glenwood Springs Demons (Glenwood Springs, CO) ice hockey trounced the visiting Battle Mountain Huskies (Edwards, CO), 6-1 in Saturday's league outing.
The Demons now own a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Summit for a 4A Mountain outing on Friday, January 31. Glenwood Springs will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Durango (Durango, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 10-5.
With the defeat, Battle Mountain moves to 6-6 on the season. The Huskies host Aspen (Aspen, CO) to encounter the Skiers in a 4A Mountain outing on Tuesday, January 28. The Skiers go into the outing with a record of 2-8. Aspen won 7-0 in their recent non-league outing against Woodland Park (Woodland Park, CO)
