Utah High School Basketball - Viewmont nudges Box Elder

January 26, 2023: Bountiful, UT 84010

Viewmont Vikings (Bountiful, UT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Box Elder Bees (Brigham City, UT), 53-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Viewmont upgrades its record to 9-9 on the season. The Vikings travel to Woods Cross (Woods Cross, UT) to clash with the Wildcats in a 5A Region 5 bout on Thursday, February 2. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Woods Cross won 47-38 in their recent league bout against Bonneville (Washington Terrace, UT)

Next up, the Bees clash with the Bountiful RedHawks (Bountiful, UT) in a 5A Region 5 bout, on Thursday, February 2. Box Elder will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The RedHawks go into the bout with a 14-1 record after their 52-46 league win over Northridge (Layton, UT).
