With the victory, Oxford Prep improves its record to 5-11 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Vance Charter (Henderson, NC) to confront the Knights in a 1A Conference 11 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 12-4. Vance Charter won 28-16 in their recent league challenge against Eno River (Hillsborough, NC)

Next up, the Spartans confront the Rocky Mount Academy Eagles (Rocky Mount, NC) in a NCISAA Carolina Independent challenge, on Friday, January 27. Kerr-Vance Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 62-24 league win over Faith Christian (Rocky Mount, NC).
