Nebraska High School Basketball - Arcadia/Loup City nudges Burwell

January 26, 2024: Burwell, NE 68823

Arcadia/Loup City Rebels (Arcadia, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Burwell Longhorns (Burwell, NE), 49-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Arcadia/Loup City upgrades its record to 6-10 on the season. The Rebels travel to Wood River (Wood River, NE) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Wood River won 58-46 in their recent non-league bout against Nebraska Christian (Central City, NE)

Next up, the Longhorns clash with the Sandhills/Thedford Knights (Dunning, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Burwell will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 50-39 non-league win over South Loup (Arnold, NE).
