Coalinga Horned Toads (Coalinga, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Firebaugh Eagles (Firebaugh, CA), 58-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Coalinga upgrades its record to 19-4 on the campaign. The Horned Toads travel to Dos Palos (Dos Palos, CA) to play the Broncos in a West Sierra bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Broncos come into the bout with a record of 4-16. Dos Palos lost 57-11 in their recent league bout against Mendota (Mendota, CA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Tranquillity Tigers (Tranquillity, CA) in a West Sierra bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Firebaugh will attempt to upgrade on its 12-12 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 0-20 record after their 45-19 league loss to Avenal (Avenal, CA).
