In Friday's league outing, the Emmett Huskies (Emmett, ID) basketball squad beat the visiting Caldwell Cougars (Caldwell, ID), by a count of 83-67.
The Huskies (5-12) will now prepare for their outing against Bishop Kelly (Boise, ID). The Knights go into the 4A Southern Idaho outing with a 7-9 record. In their last outing, Bishop Kelly defeated Vallivue (Caldwell, ID), 51-49, in a league outing.
The Cougars now hold a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Skyview for a 4A Southern Idaho outing on Tuesday, January 31. Caldwell will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 51-45 league win over Ridgevue (Nampa, ID). The Hawks record now stands at 13-4.
