The Central Lee Hawks basketball team (Donnellson, IA), was overwhelmed 70-28 in Friday's league battle with the host Danville Bears (Danville, IA)
The Bears now possess a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Burlington for a SEI - South battle on Tuesday, January 31. Danville will battle a Falcons team coming off a 62-55 league win over New London (New London, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 12-0.
The Hawks (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Keokuk (Keokuk, IA). The Chiefs come into the non-league battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, Keokuk was overwhelmed by Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA), 66-47, in a league battle.
