Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Ellwood City can't hold off Mohawk Area

January 27, 2023: Ellwood City, PA 16117

The Mohawk Area Warriors basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Ellwood City Wolverine to 59 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 15-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverside for a WPIAL 3A 1 contest on Friday, February 3.

The Wolverine (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Freedom Area (Freedom, PA). The Bulldogs enter the WPIAL 3A 1 contest with a 1-15 record. In their last contest, Freedom Area was nudged by Neshannock (New Castle, PA), 93-37, in a league contest.
