The Nashwauk-Keewatin Spartans basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Greenway Raiders to 48 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hill City for a A Section 7 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Nashwauk-Keewatin will battle a Hornets team coming off a 67-59 non-league win over Ogilvie (Ogilvie, MN). The Hornets record now stands at 2-13.

The Raiders (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Ely (Ely, MN). The Timberwolves enter the non-league contest with a 13-2 record. In their last match, Ely crushed Littlefork-Big Falls (Littlefork, MN), 82-51, in a non-league match.
