Alabama High School Basketball - Blount can't hold off Murphy

The Murphy Panthers basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Blount Leopards to 42 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Davidson for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Murphy will battle a Warriors team coming off a 46-12 non-league win over Baldwin County (Bay Minette, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 22-4.
The Leopards (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against Baker (Mobile, AL). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Baker was nudged by Bryant (Irvington, AL), 53-16, in a league contest.
