Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lower Moreland Lions (Huntingdon Valley, PA) and the visiting Cheltenham Panthers (Wyncote, PA), saw Lower Moreland's basketball squad knock off Cheltenham by a count of 59-44.

With the victory, Lower Moreland upgrades its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Lions host MAST Community Charter (Philadelphia, PA) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 30. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. MAST Community Charter won 63-50 in their recent non-league challenge against New Foundations (Philadelphia, PA)

Next up, the Panthers play the William Tennent Panthers (Warminster, PA) in a Suburban One - American challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Cheltenham will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 45-42 non-league loss to Villa Joseph Marie (Holland, PA).
