The Columbus Cardinals (Columbus, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Industrial Cobras (Vanderbilt, TX), 69-22 in Friday's league test.
The Cardinals (23-4) will now prepare for their test against Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX). The Brahmas go into the 3A Region IV District 25 test with a 21-9 record. In their last test, Hallettsville was trounced by Yoakum (Yoakum, TX), 38-36, in a league test.
The Cobras now own a 12-20 record. They play next when they host Edna for a 3A Region IV District 25 test on Tuesday, January 31. Industrial will encounter a Cowboys squad coming off a 64-24 league win over Palacios (Palacios, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 22-9.
