The Simsboro Tigers basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Forest Bulldogs to 22 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Downsville for a B District 2 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Simsboro will battle a Demons team coming off a 31-22 non-league loss to Kilbourne (Kilbourne, LA). The Demons record now stands at 5-16.
The Bulldogs (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Choudrant (Choudrant, LA). The Aggies enter the B District 2 contest with a 3-15 record. In their last contest, Choudrant was routed by Calvin (Calvin, LA), 44-33, in a non-league contest.
